| This 5:1 geared motor from VL Products weighs in at 19g excluding prop. VL recommends three different props for the motor, data is provided only for the P-1, as it provided the best static thrust figures. The three props are the P-1, a 4g, 7.25" x 4.5" black prop; the P-2, a 3 g 6" black prop formerly called the Tern Prop; and the P-3, a 3g 6.875" red plastic prop.
Do not exceed 7 Volts operating voltage for extended periods of time, as this little motor may be running at over 25 Watts and may start to smell peculiar as it proceeds to disintegrate. Radial mounting is easily accomplished and identical to that for the HY50-K and HY50-B. |
