Risteen Microlite

Risteen Microlite is a very light and strong synthetic material which is airtight and waterproof. It can be painted with some latex model paints and is an excellent material to apply to balsa or other surfaces. It is heat sealed to the model (after coating the model with BalsaRite or BalsaPrep), and then tightened by extra heat. Note that an iron should be used, rather than a hot air gun, and that the temperature of the iron should be almost at its maximum for best results.

Balsaloc

110 Gram bottle of water based, heat activated adhesive. Balsaloc and Ecofix are virtually the same and are handled in the same manner. This out the adhesive 50/50 prior to painting it onto the frame or surfaces of your airplane model. When it is dry, it is ready for use. Brushes may be washed pout with clear water.

NOTE: Be certain to wash your brush before the adhesive sets firmly, or you will not be able to reuse the brush.
