Micro Connector System

Available as 2-wire sets, used to connect your power supply or battery cells to the motor and to the radio system and 3-wire sets, used for all connections between radio receivers and Light Servo units.Optimized for absolute light weight, the Micro Connector System weighs 3.5g per mail/female connector set. The wire attached to the connectors weighs 0.93 g per meter.

All WES-Technik factory assembled Light Servo units come with female Micro Connectors factory installed. If you wish to use these same connectors for your radio receiver, you will need Micro Connector Male pieces (part#MCF). These come supplied with approximately 10 cm of wire attached.

The MCMB and MCFB units are of heavier wire and are intended for use with outdoor batteries and motors.

If the power level in a POLYCELL drops below 3 Volts, or the cell is short circuited, the result may be high heat, gassing and venting. The cell may not recover. To prevent this happening, be sure to use a Sky Hooks & Rigging SCSH-7A-V or SCSH-7A-3 speed controller or the Sky Hooks & Rigging RX72N-HYB-V narrow band, low voltage receiver, or the RX72N-HYB narrow band receiver. These are designed specifically to work with POLYCELLs and POLYCELL packs.

HEADERS for assembling POLYCELL and KOKAM cells into Series and Parallel battery packs Based on the standard JST connectors, these headers allow the model builder to assemble Parallel and/or Series battery packs simply by pluging the cells into the appropriate headers. At the moment, we carry headers for two and three cells per group.

KOKAM CELLS and SIZES AVAILABLE Kokam cells do not have built in circuitry to protect them against short circuiting or reverse charge and battery fire. They come with solder tabs for connecting, rather than pig tails. HD stands for High Demand.
